Ruffles Petwear is a small family owned business based in the Waikato. We specialise in crafting unique and custom coats for dogs. Every item is handmade in our home right here in New Zealand.

 

Our goal is to produce practical and functional dog apparel which looks stylish and has a minimal impact on the environment through reusing high quality materials where possible. Our signature wool coats are made using upcycled, 100% wool blankets. Our fleece coats are made with quality anti-pill polar fleece to ensure the highest level of quality, comfort and warmth for your pet.

Olivia is the main brains and woman-power behind the business, with the support of husband Jacob (and her mum Neroli too!). We have a son Finley and two ex-pound pups Aero and Jet.

Bonus facts about us:

• Ruffles Petwear is an evolution of my side hustle when I was a teenager in high school. I made the exact design of our current Sweaters and the business was called Poppy's PJ's. Poppy was my beloved mini foxy who was a tiny dot and was ALWAYS cold!

• We currently live in a Tiny Home on Jacob's family farm.

• I studied Fashion Design in High School and have designed and drafted my own patterns for our dog coats.

• I also have a Bachelor of Science in Ecology, a Commercial Pilot's Licence and I am a Flight Instructor! I have many passions and not enough time ;D

• Both myself and Jacob are pilot's hence the aviation-themed names for our dogs!
